The challenge was redesigning and reimagining the brand identity and iconic title sequence from the hit comedy, Superbad. The goal was to capture the movie's essence with a contemporary twist. I researched the film's 70s aesthetic and crafted a visual language blending nostalgic references and modern sensibilities. The toolkit included a revamped logo, typography, color scheme, graphics, and patterns inspired by the movie's irreverent spirit. I applied this branding to key art and a motion graphic title sequence, combining kinetic typography, character-related imagery, and animations to establish a playful, engaging tone. This content was complemented with an advertising campaign featured on billboards and bus ads.
